The privacy portion of our Web site is divided into two parts. The first part contains CPGjoblist.com/CPGjoblist’s (“The Site”) privacy notice complying with any and all state and federal regulations governing the privacy of information applicable to individual consumers. The second part contains a description of our Internet privacy practices applicable to all Internet users.

Your privacy is important to The Site.

 

At The Site, we are committed to providing you with the finest products and services backed by consistently top‑quality service. And while information about you is fundamental to our ability to do this, we fully recognize the importance of keeping personal and account information secure.

This allows us to offer you products and services that may interest you and best meet your needs, whether they are available directly from The Site or through our relationships with other companies. This notice describes the privacy practices of The Site Corporation and all The Site affiliates for any products and services governed by the laws of the United States of America. This notice explains The Site's information collection and sharing practices and lets you choose whether or not The Site may share certain information about you, either within The Site or outside of The Site with other companies.

 

Our Security Procedures

 

The Site understands the importance of protecting and securing information and using it appropriately. Access to information about you is restricted to the people of The Site who require it to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards for the security of information.

 

We limit the amount of information shared to what is appropriate to offer a product or service efficiently.

 

 

Information We Collect

 

The Site collects and uses nonpublic personal information about you to conduct our business and to consistently deliver the top‑quality Customer service you expect from us. Sources of this information include the following:

 

­                  Information we receive from you on applications and other forms or through your correspondence or communication with us including through the mail, by telephone, or over the Internet;

­                  Information we receive from third parties, such as consumer reporting agencies, to verify statements you’ve made to us, or regarding your employment, credit, or other relationships; and

­                  Information about your transactions with The Site and with other companies outside of The Site.

 

Information We Share Within The Site

 

We may share all of the information we collect about you with companies within The Site to offer additional products or services that may interest you and best meet your needs. We believe this is convenient for you and may save you both time and money. To do so, we share identification information, transaction and experience information, and other information. The decision to use any such products or services is yours alone.

 

Candidate Information

 

As part of the services the Site provides, you are able to post your Candidate Information on our website. Candidate Information is accessed by the Site, its Member Companies, Resellers and/or Sub‑Contractors who use your information to pre‑screen and pre‑qualify you for a job posting you have submitted yourself for.  Member Companies who use your Candidate Information for internal job postings and by recruiters who seek to find you employment with third parties. The Site restricts these entities from using your Candidate Information other than for internal recruiting purposes, and restricts Recruiters from disclosing your Candidate Information to third parties other than for a specific job posting.

 

Sub‑Contractors, Resellers and Recruiters are not permitted to disclose information outside their organization or beyond the a third party, as applicable. Recruiters are also required to have entered into an agreement with third parties that requires such third parties to use your Candidate Information solely for the purpose of filling a job within the Third Party for which the information was provided and not disclosing your Candidate Information outside the organization. However, although the Site deals only with reputable organizations, we cannot guarantee that all Employers, Recruiters, Resellers, Member Companies and/or third parties will adhere to the limitations we impose on them. If at any time you would like your Candidate Information removed from our Website, you may do so by using the "delete Candidate Information" function located in the Candidate Profile section. However, Employers and Recruiters who have paid to access the Candidate Information database or for whose job posting you may have applied may have already retained a copy of your Candidate Information in their own files and databases.

 

Some job postings which are posted on the The Site allow you to follow links to where you can apply, and provide your Candidate Information, for a specific job posting. In some cases, such applications are still within the The Site and its control. If you are not asked to login using your CPGjoblist.com Registration User ID and password, however, then both the application process, and your Candidate Information are outside The Site and the Site’s control. In such cases you will be providing your Candidate Information directly to the Employer, Reseller, Member Company or Recruiter and your Candidate Information will be subject to their privacy policy. The Site is not responsible for the privacy practices of such entity. In such cases, we encourage you to review the Employer or Recruiter's privacy policy.

 

Information We Share With Others

 

From time to time, we may allow companies outside of The Site, such as Member Companies and/or Resellers to offer you their products and services that may interest you. Subject to applicable law, we may share all the information we collect with these companies outside of The Site, unless you tell us not to.

 

Additionally, we may share all the information we collect with companies that perform marketing or other services on our behalf or to other institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. We are also permitted by law to share information about you with other companies in certain circumstances. For instance, we may share all of the information we collect with companies assisting us in servicing your job search, with companies that endorse our products and services through affinity agreements, and with government entities in response to subpoenas or regulatory requirements.

 

Although we will use all reasonable means to endure that the information you provide to us is not used by third parties for reasons other than described in this Privacy Policy, the Site is not responsible for any improper use of your personal information that is beyond the Site’s control.

 

This notice updates and replaces any previous notices from The Site about the privacy, security, and protection of information. For additional information regarding The Site’s privacy practices concerning the Internet, and to view the most recent version of this privacy notice, please go to www.CPGjoblist.com and click on “Privacy Policy.” You may have other privacy protections under state laws. We may amend this privacy notice at any time, and you will become bound by the most recent version of this policy if and when you go to www.CPGjoblist.com after the implementation of any new version of this policy, regardless of whether or not you click on “Privacy Policy.”

Internet Privacy Practices

 

Web Site Privacy

 

The The Site Web servers automatically recognize and record the domain name from which you access the Internet and the names of the pages you visit while at an The Site Web site. The Site Web servers do not automatically extract or store your electronic mail address (See E‑Mail Addresses below). The information automatically recognized and recorded is not personally identifiable and is used to improve the content of The Site Web sites and make them more useful.

 

E‑mail Addresses

 

If you supply us with your e‑mail address, we may let you know by e‑mail about special marketing offers for products and services that may be of interest to you. The Site reserves the right to service your account and communicate with you through e‑mail about your account.

 

Internet Security

SSL encrypts transmissions between two parties and verifies the Web site server you are communicating with. Use of Cookies

The Site’s banner advertisements and online applications may contain small graphics with tags in them. These tags are not personally identifiable and work in conjunction with these cookies. These tags allow us to measure the effectiveness and response rates of our advertising.

The Site Web sites do not knowingly collect or use personal information from children under age 13 without obtaining verifiable parental consent. If a child whom we know to be under age 13 sends personal information to an The Site Web site, we will use that information only in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

These Internet Privacy Practices were last updated June 20, 2002 and update and replace any previous Internet Privacy Practices from The Site. We may amend these Internet Privacy Practices at any time, and when such a change is made we will post a revised version on this The Site Web site. Changes will be effective when they are posted. It is your responsibility to review these Internet Privacy Practices from time to time to be aware of any such changes.
