| Position Responsibilities: |
Kellogg Company has an exciting opportunity for a Manager Sales Planning - Convenience. This position is responsible for the development and Sales Planning support of trade for the Convenience channel by communicating, integrating and implementing Convenience trade objectives and strategies within cross-functional areas of the entire organization. Key responsibilities include: - Data collection, analysis, opportunity identification and market plan development. -The position will aggregate & utilize multiple data sources to understand: promotional efficiency, diversion activity, merchandising effectiveness, product voids by distribution point and retailer location. -Develop an action plans to address opportunities/threats in conjunction with NAMS, RM, and Sales Leadership. - Position will create best in class processes to and services in support of sales. - Enable team to take advantage of promotion distribution, pricing and process to achieve strategic imperatives. - Manage plan creation, develop market execution vehicles & develop measurement tools. - Primary advocate for sales organization. A HS diploma/GED with a minimum or three years of convenience channel experience and at least three years of sales experience required, or a Bachelor`s degree with a minimum or two years of convenience channel experience and at least two years of sales experience required. Kellogg experience preferred. This individual must demonstrate the following: Strong computer skills, database management capability, and be able to work with multiple data sources & program tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, etc.) and strong analytic skills. -Individual must possess strong interpersonal communication skills to work cross-functionally.
