| Position Responsibilities: |
An exciting opportunity is available in our Kellogg`s Snacks Division. We are looking for a motivated, fast paced, people manager to fill a Zone Manager position in the Los Angeles Zone. The Los Angeles Zone covers parts of California, including Los Angeles and the surrounding towns. This position is responsible for directly supervising a team of 2 Associate Zone Managers, 9 District Managers and indirectly supervising the entire zone team of 230 Sales Representative/Merchandisers. In this job you would be accountable for: -Maximizing volume, profit, personnel performance and productivity while managing expenses within budget limits. -Setting the overall direction and execution tactics within a geographic area. -Supporting Account Management in their chain account strategy. -Working with Distribution Center Manager to ensure efficient flow of merchandise. -Developing & implementing strategies to achieve period, quarter & annual volume/profit budgets, consistent with key account marketing plans -Organizing, staffing, coaching and counseling all zone associates to execute designated responsibilities for short/long term goals and objectives. -Checking stores for merchandising integrity. -Observing and communicating competitive activities within the zone. -Adhering to all safety regulations and practices to foster a safe work environment for all associates. *Travel is required 20%-50% of the time. Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma/GED - 4 or more years of sales experience including data analysis and customer relationship development - 3 or more years people management experience - Proficient in MS office Preferred Qualifications: - 3 or more years account management experience including headquarters calls, sales forecasting and GAP analysis - Bachelors Degree *Travel is required 20%-50% of the time.
